LHS Junior’s Artwork to be Displayed at Everson
Thursday, February 1, 2018
Liverpool High School junior Wyatt Kyle has been chosen by Believe in Syracuse to have his artwork displayed and auctioned off during a special event at the Everson Museum.
Kyle is one of 10 local young artists selected for the exhibition. Each artist was presented with a Creativity Crate filled with art supplies to help them with their artwork.
Believe in Syracuse will showcase the art created by Kyle and the other Creativity Crates artists on February 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Everson Museum. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors & students (with ID), and free for children under 12, military (with ID) & Everson members.
Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on each piece of art during the event’s silent auction (bidding will close sharply at 3:30 p.m.) The proceeds from the silent auction will be divided evenly between the artists and the Everson Museum of Art as a charitable donation.
Believe in Syracuse is a local organization that promotes positive perceptions and works to improve the quality of life in the Greater Syracuse Area. The Creativity Crate initiative provides young artists with supplies that they may not necessarily have access to otherwise.
