LCSD BOE Seeks to Fill Vacancy

The Liverpool Central School District Board of Education is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Board. Board member Michael Leone resigned on August 21 after serving as a Board of Education member for three years.
Interested community members are invited to send a letter of intent along with a resume to LCSD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark F. Potter, either by email or regular U.S. Mail (Dr. Mark F. Potter, 195 Blackberry Road, Liverpool, NY 13090). All applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2018. Interviews will be scheduled following the Board's review of the materials submitted.
The appointment of a new member is anticipated to take effect at the November 5, 2018, Board meeting and will expire at midnight on the night of the annual election, May 21, 2019.
The Board is looking for an individual who believes in public education, cares about children, and will commit to running in the spring election. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
