Capogreco, Capuano Receive French Honors

Liverpool High School seniors Nicholas Capogreco and Steven Capuano have received 2020 honors from the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF).
Capogreco was honored with the 2020 AATF Outstanding Senior in French Award, while Capuano was presented with the 2020 AATF Excellence in French Award.
Both are students in Anna Burns’ French classes at LHS. The pair have each studied French for at least three years.
Capogreco has participated in National French Week activities and is an officer of the French Honor Society. Capuano is a member of the French Honor Society and has participated in National French Week activities.
The AATF Outstanding Senior in French Award and the AATF Excellence in French Award are presented annually to students who have demonstrated excellence in the study of French as well as exceptional commitment to the French language and the many cultures where it is spoken. Recipients must be non-native speakers of French.
The AATF was founded in 1927 and its mission is to promote the study of the French language and French-speaking cultures at all levels.
