A Message from LCSD Transportation
Friday, July 27, 2018
The Liverpool Central School District Transportation Department is hard at work preparing for the 2018-2019 school year. As September approaches, the department would like share a few important reminders with Liverpool parents and guardians.
Have you moved? Will you be moving soon? If so, please contact the LCSD Transportation Department as soon as possible with your new address. Any changes received after July 30 could take up to two weeks to be processed and may not be completed when bus routes are sent to families on August 13.
Bus Routes for 2018-2019
The LCSD Transportation Department will e-mail letters (via SchoolMessenger) to all LCSD families on August 13 notifying them of their child/children’s bus stops and route numbers. If your e-mail address has changed, please contact your child’s school by August 13 so it can be updated in our student information system.
Families with special needs students will receive an introductory phone call from their bus driver by August 31 to discuss their pick-up and drop-off information.
PLEASE NOTE: Letters will be mailed (not e-mailed) to Liverpool children attending parochial and private schools informing them of their pick-up and drop-off information, as well as letting them know where district transfer sites will be located.
If you have not received your letter by August 18, call the Transportation Department at 315-453-0287.
LCSD parents and guardians must make a request for student transportation to any childcare provider within district boundaries. Requests for transportation to a registered daycare provider outside of their child’s home school boundaries OR a babysitter within a student’s home school boundaries must be submitted to the LCSD Transportation Department.
Applications must be renewed annually and received by April 1 each year. If you have not renewed your application, please submit it to the Transportation Department by e-mail (email@example.com) or by fax (315-453-0282) as soon as possible. To download an application, visit the Transportation Department Web site.
For more information, contact the Transportation Department at 315-453-0287.
Parents and guardians who are requesting student transportation to a registered babysitter outside of their child’s home school boundaries, which will result in a child attending a school other than his or her assigned home school, should contact the Office of Elementary Education at 315-622-7177 for more information.
